Coffee and Cream

This little table found me when it was a boring brown paint job.  I got it at a local resale shop on the other side of town.  I am sure it originally had 4 wooden finial pieces on the underside.  When I found it, it only had three.

I removed the lone decorative piece on the long narrow side, leaving the other two alone.  The brown paint was in pretty decent shape.  The table just needed a little love.

I left the top and the cross bars the original brown.  I stenciled a table runner in vintage white.  The legs and underside got the same white.  I distressed back to see the original brown and glazed.  Lastly, some polycrylic due to the white paint.

I named her "coffee and cream".  For some reason it just speaks vanilla latte to me.

I just brought this up to Radical Recycling.  Go check her out.

Does it say coffee and cream to you?

Came over from Rustic Restorations to see your table. I am just getting interested again in stencils after three decades of not using them! Isn't it funny how many tables you can find brown? I loved the style of this table and the way you distressed it!
