Sometimes things just don't go as planned. In life and in paint!
Well for me today this is just about paint that didn't go as planned.
I found this great tray...primed it....
I had painted it the same time as my latest Detroit pegs...I was planning on adding some Michigan marking to this tray too...except...
Cracks happened...oh @%$#$! Wait...they could look kinda cool...So I added another top coat...Waited...sanded, glazed...and loved what happened!
Some areas cracked like crazy, some didn't. It was like milk paint without using milk paint!
The cracks shaping was just too much to add Detroit lingo....But a few bird shadows to make it a sky scene...perfect!
So when life gives you crackle...sand it down and go with it :)
Maybe I should work on remembering that when its life not paint!

Ha! This happens to me too with spray paint. Puzzles me when it happens on some pieces and not others that were treated the same and painted at the same time under the same conditions! Sometimes I can work with it as you did, sometimes not. Well done!
