A Busy Mom's Slow Cooker Adventures is a metro Detroit local blogger who is making her first cookbook. She sent me an inspiration picture asking if I could make the background for her cookbook photos. Sure! We can do that. I was excited to help her!
She wanted the backdrop to cover her whole counter. It turned into a large (over 3' x 2') breakfast tray. A tray to serve giants!
I used pallet wood. Aged it gray, painted it white. Distressed, glazed. I then put it together, added some hardware and sealed it.
Hope posted a behind the scenes of her first photo shoot with it here. I can't wait to see some of the final images. It will be my first "cookbook" too :) and probably as close to any of my recipes get into a cookbook.
And if you need a dinner recipe, she has lots of good ones! The baked potato soup is my favorite! I follow the recipe pretty much as is, except I always add instant mashed potatoes at the end to thicken it. Sometimes I add a packet of ranch seasoning in the cooking for a little twist!
PS... I will post answers of yesterdays discount question friday..So if you want to score a discount from me, guess or go peak at the market and let me know!
